Home Sweet Home

Michael and I have decided to buy a house! I can't begin to express how excited we are about this.

The house is perfect. It was built in the 40's. The previous owners remodeled it, adding many unique and beautiful details. It has wood floors, a claw-foot bathtub, a "mother-in-law suite" that my mom might choose to live in, a workshop for Michael, an extra bedroom that I can use for . . . whatever I want (and hopefully someday it will be a child's room).

We will definitely have a house-warming party when we get moved in (which we expect to happen within 30 days or so). Here are some photos:

Jessie,

Looks great! Tell Michael hello, and you two have a good time getting moved into that beauty. It looks like a great place...

Hi, Jessie. We've never met, but I found your blog through our friends Chuck and Debbie W and baby Jack and have been profoundly moved by what you've had to say.

And we're also actively house-hunting and so I wanted to say I am absolutely THRILLED you are going to buy that house. I've seen it many times on Craigslist and I've adored it, but it's too small for us-I've really hoped someone wonderful would find it. Congratulations!

How exciting for you and Michael! I love the diamonds on the bedroom wall! Many many blessing to you both in for your new place and I hope that the second bedroom will be filled with a little one when your hearts are ready.

Congratulations! What a beautiful cute house. Will you guys be living near us? Are you guys going to be home for the holidays?

Again, I hate you both! It's too perfect. Hopefully Bindi will enjoy her new hunting grounds! I will visit when I come west later in 2009.
